Tasting Notes: This wine is like that fruit basket that your crazy farmer neighbor brought you that you didn’t even know you wanted until it showed up on your doorstep. Once you dive into the basket, your palette is overloaded with juicy pink lady apple, crisp asian pear, fresh apricot, dried orange peel, and a solid squeeze of Meyer lemon. But once you get to the bottom of all that… just a hint of salinity tickles your throat. And with something like a quarter of this wine fermenting on the skins, (mhmm, she’s a light-bodied orange wine trying to disguise as a white), your palette is left with a solid grip of tannins balanced with mouth-watering acidity. A killer combo if we do say so.
Story: “ES Okay” The fun naming idea came from a casual conversation about how winemaker/owner Mike Lucia uses “it’s okay” constantly. It then tuned into Es Okay, with humorous label and fun lines.
