Producer : Based in the village of Vergisson, Eric Forest has been busy making waves in the wine scene. The 4.8 hectare vineyards have been passed down from father to son. All grapes are handpicked, fermented, and matured for ten to fifteen months in barriques and demi-muids. The wines are hand bottled and are, usually, unfiltered.  Five exclusive vintages of Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, and Macon-Vergisson are produced on plots of vines planted between 1930 and 1979. These small quantity wines are characterised by great precision of flavour and truly capture the area they are produced.

Grown on a plot around 400 meters above sea level. The well-ventilated vineyard has a barren and stony limestone soil and south-eastern exposure. The wines grown here are extremely mineral and firm in structure.
