Grapes: 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah
Terroir: On 6 hectares, on hillsides with soils composed of quarter pebbles rolls and red clay, placed on a bed of sand, the aged vines around sixty years are cut into goblets (except Syrah), and benefit from maximum sunshine with a cool basement.
Vinification: After a manual harvest, severely sorted, the grapes are destemmed then put in vats for 15 days, racking and aging in concrete vats
Tasting Notes: This wine has a deep and brilliant color, a pretty carmine red. The nose, intense and complex, exhales aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, of black cherry and tapenade wrapped in menthol and sweet spices. The palate is both round and concentrated, with a nice freshness. The liquorice, perceived on the nose, is fully expressed on the palate and continues on the finish with tannins of very nice structure.
