Le Cailleret Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru is grown on a very small plot of 13 acres. The vines are around forty years old. The aging is quite long, lasting 16 to 18 months in total with a proportion of one third of new barrels. This wine has a powerful and elegant nose, with aromas of citrus fruits, yellow fruits and hints of hazelnut. On the palate, we discover a beautiful concentration, fullness, fat, but also acidity which gives a very nice balance to the wine. The finish, fresh and fruity, offers superb length on beautiful bitters. Drink chilled, between 12 and 14 ° C after long aeration (three hours) or decanting.
