Tasting Notes: Clear gold, with bronze reflections, very expressive on the nose, with flower notes. On the palate, clas-sic chardonnay characteristics with buttery notes.

Notes: Winemaking: 12 month in oak (20% new).

Food Pairing: Pairs nicely with chicken and turkey

The Domain: Located in Ladoix-Serrigny (between Beaune and Nuit Saint-Georges, on the “Route des Grands Crus”, just next to Aloxe Corton, the Maratray family own 19ha of vines, producing 19 differents wines.

They produce regional (Aligote, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir), Villages (5), Villages 1er Cru (7) and Grand Cru wines (4).

The 3rd generation, the siblings Francois-Xavier and Marie Madeleine now operates the estate. They take pride in managing the estate with limited intervention, hand harvesting all plots and deploying a sustainable farming that should translate in an HVE certification in 2020.
