Alcohol : 13.5%
Grape(s) : Aglianico del Vulture
Localisation : Basilicata, Italy
Tasting Notes : A coiled intensity of rose petal, pink peppercorn and rosemary carry the nose and echo on the medium-bodied palate, with a properly deep core of ripe forest berries giving way. Firm yet polished tannins and bright acidity create a solid structure for the whole, making this entirely enjoyable in the near term but able to linger in the cellar. Drink now–2025
Food Pairing : It goes very well with all meat courses and flavourful or not too sophisticated dishes.
The DOC entry wine of Casa Vinicola D’Angelo is Aglianico del Vulture, a delicious red to enjoy to the very last sip. In the first years, this Aglianico wine may appear a little vivacious or even sharp, however, over time, as it refines in the bottle, it becomes more mellow and harmonious.
