Cardamom is a spice native to southern India. It was born in the Cardamom Hills region, which dominates the Kerala plain and the Malabar coast in the country's southwest. It is found in different countries in Southeast Asia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka... etc., and also in South America, mainly in Guatemala. Still, India is considered the queen of spices and can be found in many dishes, curry or masalas. The cardamom we offer you here is an endemic variety that grows only in the wild, in the heart of the tropical forests of Cambodia.
Tips: Wild cardamom goes perfectly with eggplant, carrot, squash, cucumber and most vegetables. It is ideal for seasoning with lamb and poultry such as pigeon.
