The Domain: The Castle German Marbuzet belongs to Didier Marcelis, owner of Château Sérilhan, a leading Cru Bourgeois Saint-Estèphe. The vineyard is located south of Château Montrose and right next to the village of Cos. German and Marbuzet are 2 hamlets forming a large village in Saint-Estèphe. In 1882, an unusual cross was erected by believers from the village in the heart of the estate, between the German and Marbuzet parts of the vineyard, symbolizing the union between these 2 hamlets. The German Castle Marbuzet was created in 1982 and as a symbol, the cross will be used on its label. This property has a magnificent terroir which expresses itself to perfection.
