Alcohol: 14%

Grape(s): Chardonnay

Localisation: Aloxe-Corton, Cote de Beaune, Cote d'Or, Burgundy, France

Tasting Notes: Intense bouquet with aromas of fruit and toast married to mineral notes typical of this appellation. Rich and powerful wine with an assertive personality.

96 points Jasper Morris:  Grown on marl with yellow notes, but only a narrow band above the calcaire de Corton. Pale lemon and lime color. The nose is powerful but backward in detail. A huge mouthful with controlled flesh alongside an intense limestone backbone, some pebbles in the background, very long finish. Impressive.

Food pairing: It pairs well with fish and shellfish in sauce and foie gras.
