The Domain: Gabriele Buondonno's farm is in Castellina in Chianti, in the Piazza area. Gabriele Buondonno can be considered one of the best interpreters of Chianti Classico. His wines go beyond the explosion of fruit as an end in itself and extreme softness. The wines are of solid structure and a pleasant freshness, never pimp.
The company is small, with 8 hectares of vineyards, mostly Sangiovese, gathered around the Casavecchia farm at about 400 meters above sea level. The soils are a classic mix in Chianti: galestro, alberese and pietraforte. Perfect for ensuring the right drainage and nourishment for plants.
